I am a private practice psychologist serving clients in and around Deerfield, Illinois in persona and virtual and can also offer Telehealth nationally in PSYPACT eligible states. Treatment Approach
Treatment begins with a detailed biopsychosocial assessment and intake appointment utilizing objective measures. From this place we can establish a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and context. I believe in the power of the therapy relationship and importance of considering an individuals unique culture and context. I have extensive experience in women’s mental health concerns, trauma and integrative therapies that address the mind-body connection. Together we can consider your need for actionable tools balanced with a strong therapy connection and create a safe, welcoming environment to optimize your potential and create an life worth living.
There is a growing body of research that supports the practice of self-compassion and mindfulness in psychotherapy. Neuroscience research reveals individuals that practice these techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past.
